What could be more appropriate for 9/9/99 than to buy a new Saab? What could be a more perfect day than 9/9/99 to buy a new Saab? After asking myself these questions, I decided that was what I had to do! So yesterday a white 9-3 became my 5th Saab ('77 99EMS, '79 900EMS, '85 900Turbo, '89 9000Turbo). What makes it particularly special is that I am coming back to the fold. I got the SUV bug 2 years ago and decided to get the most Saab- like 4 wheel drive vehicle I could. That was a Subaru Outback. 2 years later and my lease is up. The Outback was an excellent car, but it just wasn't a passionate car. I knew what I had to do.
