If you look closely at the owner's manual, you should see that it talks about front fog lights and a rear fog light. It is sometimes referred to in the singular, and sometimes plural. I'm pretty sure there is only supposed to be one, because if there were two, they would look like brake lights, and give the wrong impression to whoever is behind you. That's probably the reason why someone mentioned that having two in the US is illegal.
