And yes that was by a SAAB > certified mechanic. The factory parts for a total motor mount job (top & bottom) runs about $400, IIRC, and the labor is around 8 hours... Ywan's mounts (which I do use) are much cheaper than the factory hydraulics - by a factor of half. I am using them on my '88 9kt and have no complaints, so it's just a matter of how long they last... :) My first motor mount job was on my '86 9kt, which I had my mechanic do, and it cost about $800 - he gave me cost on the mounts, charged me actual time for the installation and not book time. The second, third, and fourth time I needed motor mounts (on my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th 9000s) I did myself.... I inquried with the dealer how much all five mounts (four engine, one tranny) and they quoted me just shy of $500 - the lower two costing about $150 each, IIRC... I choked, then called Ywan... never looked back. -Justin
