Unfortunately, I rolled the car to get a good piece of the edge to the top, to allow some torque on the upstroke, and it too promptly snapped off, so there is little left to grip onto, so the best suggestion yet appears to be going to a tire store, and see if it can be removed there, I'm just a little leery of that as I have visions of some idiot hammer mechanic going at my alloys (which new, with pre mounted tires, had a SAAB $2500 list) with a sledge, or other such sort.
