A lot of people rationalize leases by saying that you save money by only paying interest on part of the car and not the whole thing.. Realistically, the bank is not buying the car and letting you use it out of the goodness of thier hearts. There is *very* little difference between a lease and a loan in which the balance will match the predicted market value in 3 years. Number games are played to make it look like a good deal, but generally it's not, because on top of the loan, fees are typically added. That being said, saab did offer some really sweet subsidized lease deals end of last year. dave
