I went to the trouble of removing the master and found it could be rebuilt leaving it in the car and only removing the cross pin that holds it to the pedal, and the snap ring that holds the guts inside the cyl. The hard part was getting it to bleed. but after it sat a day all was forgiven and it worked fine-but the trans is still bad- The price differance is $11.00 for the kit vrs $136.00 for a rebuilt master- gad do the math.
