With hot weather now arriving in some places I was wondering if anyone else was having the hot weather starting problem that has been discussed here previously (i.e., car won't start after sitting in a hot sun and/or after a long, hot drive). I've tried most of the suggestions I've received here plus some others (e.g., replacing anti-theft device, neutral safety switch, battery, ignition switch, and starter; running extra grounding cable to battery; spraying ignition with coolant) -- so far without luck. Next week I will be taking it to a mechanic who is thinking of replacing the cable from the ignition to the starter and/or checking the battery grounding connections. Any other ideas? dhg
