Very briefly as I'm rather preoccupied, but I did buy my UK-specification Saab from a dealer in Amsterdam at the start of this year: - UK Saab prices went down a bit (or what you got for a particular price went up) last summer - not to the extent that you can't save considerably by buying on the continent but enough that you can't get the huge savings available on some other makes - You only get a year's warranty if you buy in the Netherlands, but I wouldn't pay £4000 for two year's extra warranty. I might be tempted at £400 but even then it would be nice to have the choice - What you were told by your local dealer sounds fairly mild stuff - the truth is that if they don't service an imported car or honour warranty claims they are in flagrant breach of EU legislation Martin
