Subject: Clutch slowly engages.



My clutch developed a weird problem this morning.  If I come to a stop, I do
the usual, brake, and then keep the clutch depressed and put the car in
first as I wait for the light to change.  Slowly, it seems like the clutch
engages, even though my foot is still on the pedal.  Of course since I have
my foot on the brake, I just stall.  If I leave my foot off the clutch, and
put the car in neutral, I am fine.  When the light turns green, I can press
the clutch, shift into first and go.  Shifting is no problem.  I'ts only
when I have my foot on the clutch for a longer duration.

Anyone know what this is?
