i own a 93 saab 9000 cs (1st owner), sure there are some items that give out.... but, most mechanic issues ie. water pump, the (snake) belt, oil changes, i have been able to do via a good haynes manual or saab tech web pages... yes a saab dealer will eat your wallet, but when i do take my car in for work or buying parts, i perfer the smaller independent saab dealers... they seem not to burn you as the dealers... oh do not be afraid to be used parts from the wrecking yard, as yours is a older model... oh my saab 93 saab 9000cs has 125,000+ miles as has been running like a champ.... cheers my input... 81 900 saab 93 9000cs saab "POOH GUND" <poohgundnopsamcom> wrote in message news:20001114215630.29125.00000907nopsamcm.aol.com... > Hi; > > I took my 91 9000 to the mechanic today since it will not start.
