Hi, I have a new (well, this year anyway - 5,500 miles) Saab 9-5 and it has now 6 times had a rather unsettling problem. Sometimes when braking the pedal is initally very hard, almost as though there is no servo assistance, I am not sure whether or not I'm getting servo assistance later or not, since I'm usually pre-occupied with pushing the brake pedal harder anyway to make up for the additional thinking time spent working out why I'm not slowing down yet. Anyone else had this problem? My local dealer has had the car for a couple of days, replaced the servo pump and some hoses, but it's happened again since then. Love the car, hate being nervous about the brakes. Pete Bennett.
