Subject: Electric Antenna

I'm putting a used electric Saab antenna on my '85 900. The antenna was originally on a '90. Best I can figure is this... One of the wires (green) on the antenna hooks to the radio which, when turned on, activates a relay. The other wire (red) connects to the positive side of the battery (not directly) and powers the motor. Ground is through the body. A couple of questions: 1. Is what I said above right? 2. Is the antenna supposed to retract when the car is shut off (because, currently, it does not)? TIA -- christian '85 900 Well, Harv hit the aisles dancin' and screamin'. Some thought he had religion; others thought he had a demon, And Harv thought he had a Weedeater loose in his Fruit of the Looms. -- Ray Stevens (in "Mississippi Squirrel Revival")
