Subject: Re: Whats wrong with the V6?

Hello, I have a 94 900s V6 along with a 87 SPG and have also had a 1986 900s. MY V6 has been awesome, trouble free with a powerful, easilly revable engine. I have a great service department at my local dealer and they have done 2 of the three timimg belt changes for me as well as the idler pulleys all under warranty. No problems, just preventative maintenance. The belt should be done every 30, 000 miles and the first 3 are free. I have also upgraded the handling with Koni shox, B&G springs, and an Abbott rear sway bar. The car is amazing in the corners. I am fairly fastidious in my car care and have enjoyed all my SAABs but the V6 has been great. Hope that helps Rodel "Jeremy" <JeremynopsamREMOVE.demon.co.uk> wrote in message news:OLZ3kLAvRyD8EwR0nopsamscott.net... > I keep reading postings advising people to stay away from the GM V6 > engine (in the NG 900). > > I have one, it hasnt been any trouble, and is beautifully smooth and > powerful.
