The Volvo V70 also has a history of short bulb life. This was covered by a recall which replaced the socket. I have a 20 year old Volvo which has used a total of 2 headlight bulbs, while my Saab 900 required replacing one a year. In the case of the Saab 900, the suspension was much stiffer and the elements were being broken by the vibrations when I took the 900s through the turns and potholes. I did not push the Volvo as hard as the Saab. Jim Ming wrote: > Hello Saab Fans..... > > I am about to replace yet another headlight on my 2000 9-5.
