Subject: CD Changer installation

Hi, Apologies if this has been answered before but ... I have a 2000 9-5 estate. I have just bought a Saab 6 CD Changer unit (pn 5039433 made by Pioneer) it also has 'L' shaped feet at either end and covers so that there are no sharp edges exposed. the connector is underneath the unit and is rectangular with 2 rows of 6 flat pins slightly offset. Ok, my question is this. I have looked in the boot and the only connector that I can see is at the right hand side (as you look at the car from behind) at the back of the well where the spare wheel goes. It's round with approx 7 or 8 connectors. Is this the right connector for the Unit ? and if so where can I get the adaptor so I can put a rectangular peg in a round hole ? Please help. TIA JD
