Don't buy a car that is being sold cheaply because it has a number of small faults unless you know you can fix them yourself. Parts can be expensive even if you do the job yourself, and if you have to pay dealer rates, as well, it can be bad news. Despite the ability to achieve spaceship mileages, like anything mechanical they can fail. A well known weak point is the heater matrix. Also timing chains can be expensive to replace. Plenty of info on this and other problem areas available on this NG. Don't be too put off by the potential problems. All cars have weaknesses, but not all cars have the strengths of the 9000.
