I got an e-mail from Chris at Reading Saab, he said that the support in the States is lousy! Most dealers don't even know who Hirsch is! Here is his mail to me: "I'm sure that your main Saab agents will have no problems in fitting the upgrade components, however they may be reluctant to get involved due to warranty issues. I recently sent a quote to another chap in NY who informed me that his local dealer were not at all helpful with his request, and another chap who had to take his full suspension kit to a Saab specialist to have it fitted. In Europe as Hirsch has a lot of dealer support, warranty does not seem to be an issue however in the US where we currently have no representation and the dealer network do not know the product you may find this a problem. Our warranty for the US can only cover the Hirsch components for 2 years. Since becoming the importer for the UK we have upgraded in excess of 600 vehicles without ever having any Saab standard component fail as a result of the fitting of Hirsch Performance products.
