Hi, Ed Abbott of Abbott Racing told me that the temp needle should be in the 9 o'clock to half past 9 region of the gauge. Anything lower than that and the thermostat is not working properly. The thermostat should cost in the region of 7 UK pounds (10 US dollars) and is a fairly easy DIY job or about half hour at a garage (shop) plus anti-freeze top up. I'm sorry to say that I can't advise on the oil pressure warning light.
