But in most cases then mineral oil will be thinner. This is due to different additives and that the synth oil has a steeper viscosity-curve. About the 15W-50 you use - I expect that it is a fully synth also, which is not available on the Scandinavia market. I do however find a 15W- oil too thick for our Scandinavian winters... I know Alfa's (just like Volkswagens) like to consume :: oil, So true! :: Also what are we going to call the new 9-3 here? NG9-3? Any :: suggestions? How about what Saab calls it: 9-3SS (Sports Sedan)!? :o) Cheers!
