If you mean you're gripping the bolt well, but it spins without unscrewing, then it's because the steel nut insert in the top of the dash has broken free and is spinning. There's no easy answer - you're probably going to end up breaking something while removing the dash. Which bolt is it? If it's one of the end ones, you can usually get enough access to cut it. Something else to try is to grip the bolt *really hard* with your grips, then pull down hard while turning. This can provide the insert with enough grip to allow you to unscrew the bolt. -- Grunff
