Note that according to Consumer Reports latest reliability assessment, in the category "Upscale Cars," the SAAB 9-5 was rated 3rd most reliable out of the 14 cars listed in this category. The SAAB 9-5 scored below the Lexus IS300 and Acura 3.2TL, but higher than the Lexus ES300 and Volvo S60, and much higher than the BMW 3-series, Audi A4, and Mercedes Benz C-class. --mark "Gary Fritz" <fritzxxxnopsamrii.com> wrote in message news:Xns92D186BDDF336fritzfriicomnopsam17.128.4... > Peter Wilkins <wilkinspnopsamail.com.au> wrote: > > Sounds as if my experience is not atypical. > > Any out there who haven't had many problems? > > I've only had my 2002 Aero for 5 months, but so far no problems at all... > > JD Power (www.jdpower.com) rated the 2001 9-5 as "Best Mid Luxury Car" for > initial quality.
