AHHHH - sorry.. I never had to mess with mine when I had one and just
assumed a pan somewhere under the grime.. Geeze - that's too bad..
Well then - as I said in the first place - pay attention to brother
Grunff's advise.. He knows..
Would there be any merit in forming a inch wide ring of epoxy on inside and
outside of the case around the crack and trying to put in a treaded sleeve
in so that over torque would result in sleeve movement instead of further
case damage?.. Kinda like a shear pin?..
