However, I thought the Peugeot was comfortable, quiet, and seemed to have a perfectly adequate amount of power, even when fully loaded. On the other hand, the Peugeot didn't have as much usable trunk space as my Saab 900 SE, which in turn would certainly be smaller than a 9000. I still have a Peugeot bicycle, but that's the only kind of Peugeot that's sold in the U.S. now, as far as I know. The Colombo TV show must have one of the very few Peugeots still running on U.S. roads. Of course, on the basis of renting a Peugeot 307 for a week, I have no basis for evaluating its reliability. Presumably, "Which Car" (if it still exists in Britain) has done so. Speaking of reliability, the other hatchback that I liked when I rented it in Britain was a Honda. I can't remember the model name, but it's the one where the gearshift sticks out of the dashboard, just like the old Citroen 2 CV. However, that Honda was a two-door, and the trunk wasn't that big.
