Some cars are hard to the extreme e.g. Subaru WRX, but it > does give improved control. And here the difference between the US and Europe comes in again. The reviews I read here in Holland state that the standard suspension could have been somewhat firmer. Same with my '99 9-3. It is way to soft for the conditions here. Same for the WRX. Compared to it's predecessor the GT Turbo it has been softened up. Again to much according to the review. However having been to the US I can understand why you want softer suspension on your car. In a day I saw more holes in the road than I will ever see in Holland for an entire year. But that is the trade-off for having so much roads. Maintenance will suffer. Also I suspect Holland has the best maintained roads in the world. > Perhaps he can get used to it. Fiddling > tyre pressures is not really an option. In fact that is plain dangerous. To high will just make the tire very stiff, but to low will increase the risk of overheating the tire. You wouldn't want that to happen at autobahn speeds. -- mvg, Mark Gerritsma
