It finally happened; I got a speeding ticket of 85mph in a 55mph (light/low traffic, dry & clear conditions on a state highway). Interestingly, the officer didn't use any clocking device (vascar, lasar, radar, or the patrol vehicle). Claiming to have seen me speeding as he accessed the roadway (four-lanes over from my travel lane), he selected "other" as his means of determining my speed. Obviously, I am going to dispute his clocking "method" in court; anyone care to share any helpful advice on how to "beat" this rap (other than reschedule the court-date or "slow-down" [damn turbo!]).
