It's now 5 years old, it's probably close to end of life. When you fully drain a battery that is old, it tends to do them in. Saabs (NG900's in particular) are known to run oddly with a weak battery. Ignition troubles (rough running, DI cassette failures) are often linked to weak batteries. My knowledge of auto engineering tells me that the car runs off the alternator, not the battery. But I've seen enough testimony regarding weak batteries causing problems to accept it at this point. Bob
