If not, there is no reason that you couldn't fix a few things and (either you or some one you sell it to could) continue to drive it for many years. I'm not saying that this is the case for you, but it is amusing to me that many people will not spend a few hundred to fix some problems in their older car, but will instead sell it off for cheap and then buy a new or newer car with who knows what new problems. Your old car is like a trusted friend... you know their peculiarities and strengths. -Fred
