What I know from my very own experience is that the service center doesn't seem to want to spend a lot of time identifying squeaks. They are either lazy or incompetent when it comes to those, and I tend to think it's the former. I have done a better job myself armed with some WD40 type stuff than they have done with their supposed chassis expert suppoesdly working on the car for half a day. In the end, I had to give them the lowest rating in those service questionaires you receive after visits (odd how I've never received another questionaire since :) The two options: either give the service manager hell, or try to fix the problem yourself. Also note that every convertible will develop some noises that come and go over time. ...pablo
