I have a 1996 NG900 2L S (non-turbo) and changed from the OEM wheels and tyres to 16" 5 spoke with 205-50 Falken tyres. This improved handling and ride quality which was not the very best on the NG900s. The replacement 9-3s like your car are a better handling vehicle. I would agree with Brother Hinz and recommend that you go to 16" rims. Good luck in your choice.
