Hello, I've looked all over the internet and am having a hard time finding a resource on how to read the codes given off by the check ingine light. We were told that if we jumpered 2 ports together the check engine light would flash in readable patterns that we could reference to a list (which I can't find). I'm off in limbo land w/o a car to drive. This car was just purchased and I'm afraid that might become a money pit. Any $ we can save by doing our own work is greatly appreciated. Also, can you all suggest any good repair manuals? My local shop didn't have anything. Thanks in advance, Rebecca
