Welcome to the SAAB world - strangely enough I'm just putting my 1989 9000 2.3 Auto into semi-retirement (after 8 years ownership with 184,000 Miles on the clock and still sweet as a nut, I can't actually come to terms with parting with it!) as my company are providing a Passat. It looks a good machine but doesn't quite do for me what SAABs do. I hope you can do your own servicing though as dealership servicing is expensive. I found this news group very helpful for advice and I've only had to call on a garage once in 8 years. Have great fun with your SAAB.
