There are several things that might indicate - it might be that your pump gasket has shifted or cracked on the top of the tank.. Or (and I don't know if SAAB was steel tank for that year) - the top of your tank has rusted and weeps a bit when topped off.. Could also be your vent line and or filler tube have come away or that your return line is starting to leak..
