I'm on the lookout for a good 900 convertible for my wife. I'm thinking of paying around the £5K mark so 1987 ish. I've looked at a couple so far and they seem very nice indeed. Are there any specific areas I should check before buying one? I'm an engineer, so I know the basic stuff like tyres, panel fit and smokey engines. What I'm after is anything specific or surprising that these things have a habit of doing. I drove one this evening which seemed to suffer from flexing a fair bit (windscreen frame seemed to shimmy a bit on thebumps), is this normal? I don't suppose anyone near me has a good one for sale? Portsmouth/Southampton area. Many Thanks Steve
