I'm 5'9" but I have a short torso and long legs. I have about a 32" inseam. I found the 9-3 to be to cramped for me. I have a 9-5 and it has plenty of leg room. I used to have a Volvo V-70, but my knee would hit the steering wheel. (I like to keep my left leg straight up when driving). The 9-5 has much more front-to-rear and side-to-side legroom than the Volvo or the 9-3.
