My 2003 Aero sedan, manual transmission, passed the 125k mark over the weekend. We've had it for 6 years, 3 months.

I have tracked all maintenance and repair costs since new (not including gas) and here's what I've found:
- The grand total is $4,959.
- $492 of that was to repair a busted tie rode and an alignment after my wife crashed into a curb while driving in the snow a couple years ago. Another $200 was fixing a dent in the hood from a hit and run. So call it $4,267 in "real" maintenance & repairs.
- Of that, $1,389 were for 3 sets of Kumho Ecsta ASX tires, the latest set insalled at 102k. Have averaged just under 38k on the first two sets.

Notable repairs have included:
- sunroof wind deflector (x2), power steering fluid leak (needed new o-ring), and front passenger door window roller all fixed under warranty. None have recurred.
- thermostat and coolant temp sensor at 67k, DIY for $40
- DIC at 102k, $275
- damaged front suspension bump stop, $155
- heater bypass valve at 122k, DIY $40
- rear shocks (replaced because one was leaking) at 123k, DIY $260

So call it $770 in actual repairs. The remainder, $2,108, was for oil changes, filters, fluids, spark plugs, a battery, scheduled maintenance items, etc. I do all the easy work myself, have a trusted indy for tricky jobs or times when I don't have the time.

Amazingly, the car is still on the original front brake rotors (pads replaced once), original rear pads and rotors, and exhaust. Not bad.

This has been an excellent car.
