Old Town Import Repair (Verified 2019) 245 Jefferson Old Town, Fort Collins (970) 498-8638 Web: www.oldtownimportrepair.com/ Ken Morrison, owner, is certainly the most knowledgeable SAAB technician I have ever encountered. Submitted by Stephen M. Ken Morrison, the owner and SAAB guru, as well as his right hand man Ryan, are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to SAABs. I found them right here on this site, and it sure was nice to talk with someone who knew their way around the cars. Prices are reasonable, service is prompt, and I challenge anyone to find a problem they can't correctly diagnose on the spot. I talked to a few customers, and apparently there are customers who come from as far as Colorado Springs just to have Ken and Ryan work on their car. That's quite a testimony, considering the fact that Denver is between the Springs and Fort Collins and about an hour closer. I highly recommend Old Town Import. Submitted by Jeff H. Ryan, a tech at Old Town, is my personal hero at the moment. After a cross-country road trip in my 900T (213k miles) was sidelined by technical difficulties in western Nebraska, Ryan offered to come into the shop after hours to check my car out. After I finagled a 150 mile tow to Ft. Collins (thank you, AAA), Ryan interrupted his own vacation to come into the shop and help me out. After about 45 minutes, I was back on the road. Thank you, Ryan! This is a great shop that employs great people. Submitted by James E. I would highly recommend this shop. They have solved all my Saab stories. Both Ken and Ryan usually help me out when I show up (I drive from Cheyenne, Wy 50mi). They have helped diagnose things over the phone when they don't have to and it time and time again. Thumps up guys. Submitted by Lalo G. Ken is honest and forthright, admirable and often missing traits in auto mechanics shops. He is upfront with costs/ repairs/ time and does an outstanding job. We definitely recommend him for Saabs! Submitted by D. H. We had a very good experience with Old Town Import and Ken is a very honest mechanic to work with. I highly recommend this shop. I found a used 2004 9-5 Linear from Ken and after a phone conversation we drove all the way from MN with our 900 to trade it with this 9-5. All he said on the phone was true and we bought the car and drove back to MN. It's been more than 20000 miles and the car still runs great. Thank you Ken and Old Town Import. Hope to work with you again. Submitted by Ugur I had the pleasure to purchase my first Saab from Ken about 10 years ago. To say he is fine, honest and decent falls short of the real effort Ken makes to help you find the right automobile. Please put a lot of weight on his "ASE and Saab certified Master Technician" qualifications. He is amazing such that, he can fix any correctable problem, including getting parts. He also stands behind his work and explains all of the costs and options. He loves his craft AND his customers and has goine the extra mile in every way. I went on and provided two of my college-age children with vehicles purchased from his shop (and purchased several of my own). When my son finished college and purchased a new car he returned it to Ken's shop knowing that "Ken could make it a good car for another college student." Thanks Ken, for the last decade!! You are super and trusted in all ways. Submitted by Michelle B.
