Ralland Robbins and Carmelita went above and beyond to take
care of my car (99 9-5SE 2.3lpt) after I lost the turbo on my way to FL
from NY. They got the parts there overnight, dropped everything and had
the car ready to go in under 72 hours. This in spite of having to do a
massive clean-up from the catastrophic turbo failure. Absolutely
top-notch operation, outstanding service at a reasonable price.

I have been doing business with Steve, Robbie and Lindsey, the
most knowledgeable Saab mechanics I have ever known, for well over 20
years. I have 5 Saabs, and other than myself, there is no one but them
that I would allow to work on any of my cars. These Dealer trained Saab
guys are so honest that it will really amaze you. I’ve personally seen
Steve show customers that something did not need to be done that other
shops said needed to be done. Steve will fix it right the first time and
not charge you an arm and a leg. Because of their low overhead (being
located in Woodstock), their labor rates are lower than anyone else’s. I
think Lindsey was born with a special Saab tool in his hand. He is the
grandson of Coke Elliott, the original Saab Dealer in Atlanta. He knows
so much about Saabs that he is a walking encyclopedia of information. Do
you like to work on your cars yourself? Well I do. They will help you
with parts and technical help as well. By the way, Robbie is great with
parts and his prices are pretty great too! They also have a huge supply
of used parts, which helps me with my 4 Classic 900ís.

Bought my first SAAB in 1979, a V-4 pickle green 96. These
guys made me understand what service and the fun of Saabing is all
about. Since then I have owned 2 Sonnets, a 2 stroke 96, a 99, a 1979
900, a 1986 900 Turbo, still running smoothly according (@ 225K miles!)
to the friend’s son who bought it. Now I am in a 1995 900 S, which
happily just returned my family and myself safely from Disneyworld.

Steve, Robbie and Lindsay are STILL together, STILL going the extra mile
to make sure I am running smooth. These guys also have a great new and
used parts inventory, and I would suggest any Trollheads give them a
try, you will be glad you did!

I have been bringing my Saabs to Jack & Teresa for over 20 years. I have
always received quality evaluations, repairs and follow-up. If there is a
problem with any repair, they will honor the repair and make it right. You
always receive a call prior to any major work and any other hidden problems
will be pointed out. You at least know what is wrong with your car. As a
veteran Saab owner, you learn to fix it right and fix it early. Cutting corners
gets you into trouble. Their new facility on Joseph Lowery Blvd. is quite nice
and worth the drive. As a matter of fact, I now Live in Charleston, SC, a 5 hour
drive, and S&J still gets all of my service work. I highly recommend them and
their services.

Very good work at good prices. Honest and friendly. They detail your car on
every visit and put candy and a nice note on your dash. I almost forgot the
cleanest bathroom I've ever seen at a mechanics. : )

Two different visits, 9/98 & 12/98, validate the good things I heard
re:Sovereign here on Saabnet. Family run business, with honest people
providing good value and unsurpassed attention to quality. In the past my
enthusiasm for SAAB's was negated by the frustrations of coping with
various dealer's service depts. Thanks for the referral.

Sovereign's new shop at Old Ellis Pointe in Roswell is awesome; seven or
eight lifts, an indoor wash area, plenty of parking and a waiting room that
lets you relax with TV or work on your laptop. Still great friendly
service. First class!!

Having recently moved to Atlanta, I searched for recommendations on
mechanics for my car at Saabnet. I chose to try Sovereign and have been
extremely pleased with their work and prices. I can't say enough about how
they treat you and your Saab. How many other mechanics call you a few days
after to make sure your car is running well? I wish that I could take them
with me when I relocate again!

I was on temporary duty in Montgomery Al and 950 miles from home, when my
83 Saab Turbo decided to start acting up. Jeff at Swedish Performance
stayed open late and fixed my car. Excellent Saab experience, nice shop,
GREAT PEOPLE. If you live Swedish Performance, that were your car should be
serviced.

Jeff Govenflo is the most honest, hard working, and knowledgeable mechanic
I have met in my life. When I was about to get rid of my Saab 900 due to
extremely disappointing experiences I had with other shops, somebody
mentioned him. I drove my Saab from Columbia, SC to Marietta, GA, with
little or no expectations. To my pleasant surprise, Jeff fixed all the
problems, put up with me and my bad experiences, and has kept me as a Saab
fan to this day. Simply put, I would not let anybody else touch my car for
any major repair!

How often do you hear of a mechanic that will take the time to address all of
your questions and concerns? Jeff (A certified Saab Tech.) is that kind of
service professional. I highly recommend a visit to his shop for all your
Saab service needs. Your Saab deserves the special attention he provides.

Swedish Performance Group is the place to go if you love your car. They have
42 years combined Saab experience from Sonetts to 9-5s, plus they have all the
factory tools to service your late model Saab's, for check engine lights,
airbags, and convertible tops. Just ask for Jeff or Anthony and they will be
glad to help. They are located just one mile east of the Big Chicken in
Marietta on Roswell rd. If you want your car fixed right and care about how it
gets done call these guys first!
Submitted by Jeff Gorenflo

Jeff was great. He successfully diagnosed my car problems, and confirmed my
beliefs that other shops were trying to rip me off. He replaced my Turbo and
chains, and all for half the estimate from S and J (don't go there!). When I
picked the car up he took the time to show me the parts that had to be
replaced, and explained why they had failed. He knows his stuff, and will
help you out however he can!
