1999 SAAB MAKES FOR MEMORABLE SWEDISH SOUVENIR ESPECIALLY WHEN ROUNDTRIP AIRFARE IS FREE
Saab's European Delivery program includes new-car savings, vacation fun, and for a limited time, two free tickets to Sweden.
NORCROSS, Ga. - Saab enthusiasts who want to be among the first to own the all-new 1999 Saab 9-5 or Saab 9-3 can get a head start—in Europe. For a limited time, Saab is offering free round-trip airfare for two to Sweden with the purchase of any 1999 model Saab through the company's European Delivery Program. In addition to free airfare, and savings off the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP), the Saab customer and a travel companion will also enjoy a sample of Swedish hospitality in Trollhattan, Saab's birthplace and home of Saab Automobile AB world headquarters.
This valuable offer is valid with all European Delivery orders placed through a local U.S. Saab retailer by May 31,1998. Cars must be picked up at Saab's European Delivery Center in Trollhattan, Sweden, by Nov. 30, 1998—leaving plenty of time to plan a perfect European driving vacation in one of Saab's sporty new models.
In addition to great savings and free airfare to one of Europe's most scenic countries, European Delivery customers enjoy a no-hassle buying experience. Saabs purchased through the European Delivery program are ordered at any U.S. based Saab retailer, and all necessary paperwork—including all shipping and customs documentation—is handled by Saab. Once the owner bids his or her new U.S. specification-built Saab "Bon Voyage" at one of several European drop-off centers, the car is shipped to the hometown dealership for pick-up approximately 8-12 weeks later.
Every European Delivery program purchase includes a special stay in Saab's hometown of Trollhattan, Sweden, courtesy of Saab. Customers are greeted at the Gothenburg airport, located approximately 45 minutes from Trollhattan. Saab staff escorts travelers to Ronnum Manor, one of the region's most historic country inns. Dinner, accommodations and breakfast for two are all included, as is a tour of the nearby Saab factory, when available. The new Saab is officially presented at the European Delivery Center, located in the recently expanded, history-filled Saab Car Museum. Saab staff will also assist new owners with information about first-class Countryside Hotels, located throughout Europe.
To take advantage of the special airfare promotion, Saab shoppers need only to place their European Delivery order prior to May 31, 1998, and take delivery of the car in Trollhattan, Sweden by Nov. 30, 1998. A $1,000 deposit is required at the time of the order.
Airline tickets are issued by Northwest/VKLM Airlines, round-trip from these departure points: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago (O'Hare), Detroit (Metro), Houston (International), Los Angeles, New York (JFK), Newark, Memphis, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington DC. Available seats are limited and travel arrangements to and from these departure cities are the responsibility of the customer. Return airfare can be booked from a number of European cities, including Stockholm, Munich, Vienna, Paris, Madrid and London.
