Saab is pleased to announce the following appointments within Saab communications:
Effective immediately, Steve Janisse, Product Communications Manager for Saab Cars USA, is appointed to the position of Global Product Communications Manager for Saab Automobile AB.
Steve will be based in Gothenburg, Sweden, and will be responsible for developing and managing all media-related communications regarding Saab's current and future products. He will in charge of managing all global product launches, promoting global marketing activities, and managing media days and press conferences at international motor shows. Steve will report to Eric Geers, Saab's Executive Director of Corporate Communications.
Steve has worked in Saab's public relations department since 1999. Before joining Saab, Steve worked for the marketing communications agency Sandy Corporation, where he helped develop training materials and launch programs for GM's Pontiac-GMC brands. He joined The Jack Morton Company in 1997 as a Creative Director, assisting GM with speech writing, creating and directing press conferences, and managing consumer launch events.
Steve has a Bachelor of Arts degree in telecommunications from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
Colin Price, Saab Cars USA's Manager of Interactive Marketing, is appointed Product Communications Manager. Colin will be responsible for developing and managing all product communications regarding Saab Cars USA's current and future products. Colin will report to Kevin Smith, Saab Cars USA's Director of Corporate Communications.
Colin has been with Saab since 1996 and has had very successful stints in marketing, business strategies and public relations. In his role as interactive marketing manager he was central in the creation of several award-winning online advertising and e-mail marketing campaigns.
Prior to joining Saab, Colin worked for Yokohama Tire Corporation in marketing communications, training and public relations. He also has experience managing consumer launch events with NAPD for several automotive companies.
Colin has a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University.
