You get to the Instrument panel lamps thru the left speaker grill/defroster panel. Lamps are mounted in little holders that 1/4 turn to hold in/take out. For info, dash controls are lit via a lamp *inside* the control. The control pulls out the front, and you find the $2.00 lamp stuck into the rear of the control Good luck Mark '83 900T 3-door (my first Saab, and I love it)
