Opinions, please: My neighbor has a 5sp 1988 900S 3 door w/ 139,000 miles on the clock. The car is in good shape, other than a few cosmetics (headliner!) and oil use of about 1 quart/month. I can buy it for around $2000 US. Question: What should I watch out for in this model? Any particular bad stuff? I'm fairly (OK, very) mechanical & have owned several Brit & German cars. I've done extensive rebuild/repair work (with the Triumphs, usually on the side of the road), but must admit I know nothing about Saabs. So, what;s the scoop on 900S's?
