In my opinion it was just a glorified Chevy Caviler. --I think you should make judgments based on the CAR itself, not on the badge or the history of the make. It is not overpriced; it is priced competitively with other sedans in its price class. If that car had a German nameplate on it, it probably would have cost a few grand more than it already does. If that car had an Opel badge on it (in the US market), I'd think that the naysayers would welcome another German car & nameplate to the American market. But since it comes with a Cadillac crest on it, no! It's an overpriced mismarketed GM car! So take the car as it is...and forget about the badge that's on it. I think it's a welcome alternative to bland cars such as the Acura TL series or the Infiniti I30. --Aamir Qazi
