Subject: Dealers are Stealers

Dear fellow Saab owners: I have a 91 900, and my mother a 91 9000CDE, and we both love our cars. Our biggest complaint is the service we have received since we have first purchased the cars new. We have been lied to, insulted, and overall mistreated by the dealerships up here in the Toronto area, namely in Whitby and Pickering, Ontario. My annual servicing costs were about $2000.00 a year, which I thought ridiculous, after all, I bought a quality car didn't I. When ever the car was brought in for a repair, within a week of such service, without fail, some unrelated problem would occur. It happened to me and my mother, consistently. I have never had such problems before with any dealers, previous cars being Audi, Toyota, and Subaru. No complaints until now. Anyone with similiar experiences! To make a long story short, I found a Saab mechanic in Toronto, who brought my annual servicing costs to about $600.00 per year, which I think is extremely reasonable, especially since my car now has over 200,000 kms on it. Imagine, the older my car got, the lower my servicing costs. Not likely, I feel very ripped off, and angry with Saab Canada for allowing such a scam. I love the car, and unfortunately don't think I would ver buy another one because of our bad experiences. It's shameful.
