I have an '84 900T with over 300K miles on the original engine. I had to
replace the head last year but that's because I lost the water pump and
overheated it badly. When I looked at the cylinders, they had almost no
wear with 250K on them. Then again, I'm still wondering when I'm going
to have to change the clutch. It's original too.
