SAAB trailer hitches attach to the bottom floor and behind the bumper, they are rated for 1000lbs or 2000lbs with trailer brakes, I think the tounge wieght is rated at 300lbs, but I think the most important issue is the cars ability to stop with the load behind it. unfortunatly SAAB no longer makes a hitch to fit 80 and prior year cars
