In the last few weeks the factory has dropped the prices of rebuilt units. It is hard to find anyone to go into anything ZF makes. Parts availablity is an issue as well. There are a few places doing it, but IMO, your best bet is to buy a factory unit. Call you dealer for details. It still will run around $2K and $5oo for installation. If you find someone to rebuild it , you will spend close to the same and not get the same job as the factory does inside the box. Independents can do the work and there are no shortages of the units, I ordered one Friday and it came Tuesday. Good luck, Ywan Mason
