Subject: 88 900 Turbo Tranny Problems

I have a question similar to the other tranny problems that have been answered, but please accomodate me... 2 1/2 years ago, I took our 88 900 Turbo Convertible (automatic) in for a *routine* transmission fluid change at a Saab dealership. Everything was fine. About two weeks later, I began having transmission problems. Specifically, it wouldn't shift without high revs or deceleration. I took it to a different dealer, who wasn't able to come up with an answer (possibility: linkage cable?), but would be glad to do the detective work ;) Well, we only use it for in town driving, and not much of that. When accelerating, it will sometimes shift for me, other times I will lay of the gas a little and it will shift. Downshifts are not a problem. The question is, I am hesitant to take it to the shop, for fear that they will gouge me with unneeded work to fix this problem. Any ideas and/or suggestions? thanks -- Christopher M.
