What brand of pads are on the front?

When was the last time the suspension bolts were tightened? Including the
strut mounting bolts up top?

Are the axle nuts torqued properly? Have you checked them?

Check the sway bar bushings. It may be time for struts, but they should show
the same noise when cornering or hitting bumps and dips.
