Dont worry about the turbo, it will probably outlast the rest of the car. I believe a new (rebuilt) one runs about $1200 installed. One word of advice. Change your oil at least every 5000 miles (3000 is better) and use a high quality synthetic motor oil such as Mobil 1. I have used only OEM Saab oil filters. My cars usually get an oilchange every month. Perhaps its overkill, but I've never had a mechanical engine failure in almost 3 million miles. Hope it helps, Tim
