Hi Tom: I have a 1989 Saab 900T and I bought one with 130,000 miles. If you are not willing to spend another 2000 dollars to get it running properly you are in for some Major Work ahead. 1- Rack leaking oil 2- Front Oil seal leaking 3-automatic seatbelt microswitchespassivre seat belts not working 4- water pump making noise 5- oil leaks front cover gasket 6-AC leaking .Relaced all hoses 7- Thermostat all hoses replaced This is just a smithering what you are up against. If the automatic transmissions goes you are into a 2000 repair. If you want reliability purchase a Nissen Maxima. If you consider the car a hobby. Go for it. Good Luck
